Company Trip to Ciwidey – A Day Full of Adventure and Joy
Our journey to Ciwidey, Bandung was truly an unforgettable experience for all PT Bumi Rasa Pangan Utama employees. The trip began with a visit to Kawah Rengganis, where we were amazed by the beauty of nature and the warmth of the sulfur springs that reached up to 80°C. Crossing the swaying suspension bridge added a thrilling touch it was both exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time!
Exploring Kawah Rengganis & The Swaying Suspension Bridge
One of our first stops was Kawah Rengganis, a volcanic hot spring site tucked away amidst lush greenery. It’s known for bubbling streams and natural hot springs with water that can climb up to around 80 °C. The steam rises softly, perfuming the air with a minerally scent that’s unmistakably volcanic.
To reach the crater zone, we traversed a suspension bridge that swayed with every step — heart-racing for some, thrilling for others. That bridge gave us a bird’s-eye view of the landscape, the valley below, and the misty slopes beyond. The gentle sway, paired with the expansive view, made it feel like walking between earth and sky.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
A Ride in the “Keranjang Sultan” — Hanging 100 Meters Above
Then came the highlight for many: Keranjang Sultan essentially a giant rattan basket gondola that dangles high above the ground, suspended by cables. We ascended to approximately 100 meters elevation, suspended over treetops and sweeping views of the forest valley. The gentle swaying, the open air, the panoramic horizon all made for one of the most memorable moments of the trip.​​​​
Fun, Strawberries & Golesat
After that aerial thrill, we kept the energy going with fun rides like Golesat (a local slide / downhill track), laughter and cheers echoing through the group as we raced down. Then we ventured to a strawberry farm — wide rows of lush plants heavy with red fruit. Picking fresh strawberries right off the vine, sharing them among teammates, proved to be a sweet, grounding experience.
Coming Together Over Dinner
As dusk approached, we gathered at RM Sangkan Hurip 3 to enjoy a hearty meal a time to share reflections, photos, and jokes from the day. Conversation flowed, laughter sparking across tables. Then we loaded the bus and made our way back to Tangerang, full but not weary, carrying with us more than souvenirs but memories of unity, wonder, and the simple joy of stepping away together.​​​
​It was more than a company outing, it was a celebration of the people who make PT Bumi Rasa Pangan Utama what it is. The sights of Ciwidey may fade in memory, but the bonds strengthened that day will continue to grow.
